Grounded breathwork, mindfulness, and gentle movement for people carrying grief in both body and mind.

Description

Grief is emotional, but it is also physical. It can show up as shallow breathing, restlessness, exhaustion, muscle tension, difficulty sleeping, or the sense that your body is always bracing for something. My work helps people slow down and reconnect with themselves without demanding that they explain or fix what they are feeling.

Sessions combine simple breathwork, guided meditation, and gentle somatic practices that can be adapted for different bodies, energy levels, and levels of experience. You do not need to be flexible, athletic, spiritual, or good at sitting still. The goal is not to erase grief; it is to create moments of steadiness inside it.

I often work with people after a death, during caregiving, after traumatic loss, or while adjusting to a major change in identity or family life. Sessions may focus on grounding during anxiety, preparing for sleep, releasing physical tension, or developing a short practice that can be used during difficult moments.

I offer private and small-group sessions in Marietta, along with virtual appointments throughout Georgia. My practice is trauma-aware, LGBTQ+ affirming, and designed to complement—not replace—medical care or mental health treatment.
